    Crown Chronicle

    In the mid1800’s the Netherland Dutch firm, Vliscoin inspired by African culture, made with the  Indonesians Batik technique. This technique was used to create African wax fabric aka the wax hollandais. For distribution, the Nana Benz businesswomen of Togo imported the wax hollandaise textiles and distributed it throughout West and Central Africa.  They became the wealthiest, most feared international black businesswomen and the foundation of the Togolese economy.
